Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TripGenie (website at tripgenie.ai and mobile application), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are effective as of February 17, 2026.

2. Description of Service

TripGenie is an AI-powered travel planning platform that generates personalized day-by-day itineraries. The service is free to use. We may provide affiliate links to third-party booking services (hotels, activities, restaurants) through which we earn referral commissions. These commissions have no additional cost to you.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using email or third-party OAuth providers (Apple, Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TripGenie for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

  • Use automated systems to scrape or extract data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service to generate spam or harmful content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

5. AI-Generated Content

Itineraries and recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only.

  • AI suggestions are not guarantees of availability, pricing, or quality.
  • We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
  • You should independently verify all travel information, bookings, and safety conditions.
  • AI-generated content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

6. Bookings & Third-Party Services

TripGenie acts as an affiliate/referral service for third-party booking providers including Booking.com and Viator.

  • All bookings are subject to the respective provider’s terms and conditions.
  • TripGenie is not a party to any transaction between you and third-party providers.
  • Pricing, availability, and booking terms are determined by the providers.
  • Any disputes regarding bookings should be directed to the relevant provider.

7. Intellectual Property

TripGenie owns all rights to the platform, branding, AI models, and technology. Users retain ownership of their personal trip data and content they create. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve our services.

8. Privacy

Your use of TripGenie is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it to understand our data practices.

9. Disclaimers

TripGenie is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Travel involves inherent risks that are the responsibility of the traveler. We are not liable for any travel-related incidents, injuries, or losses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripGenie and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, given the service is free, would be zero).

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
